A note from the composer: 

Fantasia 2 is the second part of the Fantasy Series. Written for more advanced players,
counterpoint takes the lead throughout the score, including phrases that jump between
instruments to the delight of both performers and audience. The brass section takes a
leading role right at the start, before letting the woodwinds develop an intricate conversation
across the section.
