A note from the composer: 

Daven Port is one of my favourite works. I wrote it for the Concert Band of the Vilanova i la Geltrú Conservatory, and it was premiered in 2013 when I was 17. It combines Western 
rhythms and classical melodies with cinematic harmonies, and it was a lot of fun to write. 
Inspired by the namesake city in Iowa, Daven Port is conceived as a musical adventure for all players. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing and conducting it for the first time in November 2013.
